While selfie, the contemporary idealism portrait of individual, generate millions of virtual identities, clothing has become one of the most significant parts of self-representation. However, such connection is mainly occurred by graphic oriented information, such as logo, monogram, photo and slogan. The relations between graphic visuals and identity become far more complicated in different environment as it combines multiple meaning and self-interpretation.
Follow the loop entanglement of imagery and identity, the project combines imagery, material, fashion material, fashion craftsmanship and historical garments to reconstruct three different identities and review the relations of beings and imagery. It also attempt to explore the social meaning of modern fashion craftsmanship techniques and materials.
